Conflict Minerals

At Eltron Europe, we are committed to responsible sourcing and promoting ethical business practices throughout our supply chain. Our commitment extends to ensuring that our components and materials are sourced from companies that uphold our shared values of human rights, environmental responsibility, and integrity.

Our Commitment

We support the aims and objectives of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (2010), particularly the provisions concerning conflict minerals sourced from regions of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and surrounding areas known to fund armed conflict.

As part of our position:

  • We do not knowingly procure materials containing Tin, Tantalum, Tungsten, or Gold (3TG) sourced from conflict-affected areas unless they are certified as “Conflict Free.”
  • We require our suppliers to conduct reasonable due diligence on their own supply chains to verify the origin of these minerals.

Supplier Expectations

We ask our suppliers to ensure that materials and components provided to us are sourced from:

  • Mines and smelters located outside the “Conflict Region”, or
  • Mines and smelters within the region that are certified by an independent third party as being “Conflict Free.”

We are working collaboratively with our suppliers to gather supporting documentation and evidence that all products and materials used in our supply chain are free from conflict-related risks.

If any supplier is found to be non-compliant, we will actively work with them to either shift to certified sources or discontinue use of the affected materials.

Continuous Monitoring

Our process is subject to ongoing review and improvement, and we remain committed to transparency and ethical sourcing. We believe that our actions contribute positively toward responsible global trade and the protection of human rights.
